"Work hard, play harder." -Unknown (and Me)
It's been a busy 2nd semester of CRNA school. But with that being said, this week is Spring Break. Those two words have held significant meaning since I first started my educational journey some 27 years ago (wow, I'm old!). Anyway, I've taken this week "off" to enjoy the things I love the most...family, friends, traveling, eating, and the beach.
Next week it will be back to the daily grind of submitting assignments, studying for tests, showing up for class, reading, typing forums, studying for more tests, taking those tests, well, you get the picture. That's fine. I'm certainly not complaining. After all, it's what I signed up for and I love it. But for right now and for this week, I'm just gonna enjoy myself.
I started out my Spring Break by having my sister, three nieces, and nephew come to Jackson for a visit. We hung out with some good friends of mine, and made a trip over to the Memphis Zoo. We all had a blast! I couldn't get over how skinny and sleek cheetahs are...no wonder they can run so fast. Impressive!
And now, I'm down in Orange Beach, AL soaking up the sun, sand, seafood, and laid back lifestyle. I could definitely get used to this. Give me about 2 more years and I plan to be down here "full-time".
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some more playing left to do. Enjoy the following Spring Break pics.
Adiós!
